Kristen Wiig bridesmaids

Kristen wiig bridesmaids
The maid of honor is the unsung hero at every wedding: she has to make sure everything runs smoothly, remain perpetually enthusiastic, and look good no matter what taffeta atrocity she’s been asked to wear. Plus, she can't ever upstage the bride.Such is the burden facing screenwriter and star Kristen Wiig in Paul Feig's long-awaited comedy "Bridesmaids." If it flops, it'll be her fault. If it succeeds, producer Judd Apatow -- finally breaking free from bromances -- will get much of the credit.

Good thing he tossed the bouquet to the right woman.

Wiig and her co-writer, Annie Mumolo, were clearly determined to make a movie that actually reflected reality, albeit in the most exaggerated manner imaginable, and with as much alcohol as possible.

So Wiig's Annie isn't just down on her luck but a perpetual underachiever, whose world is rocked when her best friend (Maya Rudolph) gets engaged. With no idea what lies ahead, she loyally agrees to be maid of honor.

Things head south immediately, as the other bridesmaids (including standout Melissa McCarthy) notice Annie's slacker attitude. The snooty Helen (Rose Byrne, perfect) is especially appalled, and begins approaching pre-wedding planning as a competitive sport. Meanwhile, Annie's so distracted by a selfish playboy (Jon Hamm), she keeps overlooking an obvious soul mate (Chris O'Dowd).

If this sounds like a typical date movie, worry not. It's very much an Apatow production—though the crasser additions, like his already-notorious food poisoning scene, feel painfully forced. Like most of his movies, this one's also too long, and ends with a rushed, regrettably dismissive finale that literally pushes Annie into the back seat of her own story.

Actor Charlie Sheen's divorce with estranged wife, Brooke Mueller has been finalized after six months of filing the petition. As per the custody agreement, the former "Two and a Half Men" star will pay Mueller 55,000 dollars a month to support the former couple's twin sons, Bob and Max. Mueller will also receive a lump sum of 757,698.70 dollars as well as a 1 million dollar buyout of the couple's former home, which Sheen will keep, reports Fox News.

According to TMZ, the custody agreement terms took very long, causing delay in the proceedings, especially in the light of recent developments between Sheen and Mueller.

The legal documents have reportedly stated that "under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for his sons, Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to his other ex-wife, Denise Richards for his daughters, Sam and Lola."

Mel B, aka Scary Spice, and husband Stephen Belafonte are expecting a new baby this summer. She confirmed the news to Access Hollywood on Monday.

She joins fellow Spice moms, Victoria Beckham (expecting a girl) and Emma Button (expecting a boy), who are also due this summer.

The couple, both 35, first shared the pregnancy news with Britain's Hello! magazine.

"We're really thrilled. We wouldn't have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren't excited and ready for it," the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant told the mag.

"Both my pregnancies have been lucky and happy and exciting, no matter what situation I've been in. This is different because we have been married for four years, we have a history together, we're best friends, we're in it together, and he's totally supportive," she continued.

Adding, "I like the feeling of being pregnant. I like being able to just eat something if I'm craving it. I definitely do put on weight [during pregnancy] but I think you're meant to when you're pregnant. I think it's healthy."

Jodie Foster Kristen Stewart

Jodie Foster Kristen Stewart
The 48-year-old actress, who worked with the 'Twilight' star when she was 12 in 'Panic Room' has confessed she never thought Kristen would stay in the film industry because she didn't seem to enjoy it. She said: "I just love Kristen Stewart, but I didn't think she'd choose to be an actress. "I said to her mom, 'She doesn't want that, right?' And she's like, 'Well, yes, she kind of does.'"
The 'Beaver' star went on to say she saw similarities between herself and the 20 year old because neither actresses like showing their emotions in real life. Talking to the Hollywood Reporter she continued: "Because she's very much like me: She's not comfortable in life being a big externally, emotional person, beating her chest, crying every five minutes."

"I felt she was such an intelligent technician, so interested in camera - I thought that would translate to other things."

Kristen - who is rumored to be dating her 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson - has been open about her dislike of fame and has admitted she hates not being able to go out without being recognized.

Earlier this year she said: "There's no way to eloquently put this. I just can't go to the mall. It bothers me that I can't be outside very often. And also to not ever be 'some girl' again. Just being some chick at some place, that's gone."

Tina Fey defends Gwyneth Paltrow

Tina Fey defends Gwyneth Paltrow
People Mag has some excerpts from the interview below, but one thing I just wanted to point out: Tina is trying to defend Gwyneth Paltrow! FOR REAL.

In the interview, she was defending Gwyneth’s comment - from a year ago or more, I believe - that Goopy has “cried” on a film set before because she misses her kids. Tina says the same thing, but frames it in a different way and…when Tina Fey says it, the world laughs. When Gwyneth Paltrow says it, the world rolls their eyes and mutters something along the lines of “Snotty bitch troll from hell.” It’s not just what is being said, Tina. It’s how the lady says it.

As a multi-tasker, she puts even James Franco to shame. But actress, book author, screenwriter, producer, mother, youngest-ever Mark Twain Prize for American Humor honoree and seven-time Emmy winner Tina Fey has one more label she’s ready to add to her resumé: Life Coach to Gwyneth Paltrow.

“Any time you talk about being a working mother and you complain about it in any way, people eat your face,” Fey tells InStyle for its April issue, on sale Friday. “I remember reading some interview where Gwyneth Paltrow said something like, ‘I missed my kids on the set one day and I was crying.’ And I thought, Yeah, I’ve totally done that.”

Continues Fey, 40: “But on the Web site where I read it there were these furious comments. ‘But you’re a movie star!’ Yes, it’s much worse for a mom serving in Afghanistan. Of course. But there’s just no forgiveness.”

Exercising her formidable talents is still a stretch, given the time constraints in a day. Yet, as Fey admits, “You need a lot of help, and you need not to be afraid to ask for help.” She credits a great nanny and husband (since 2001) Jeff Richmond, musician and 30 Rock co-producer, who is also “a full participant” at home.

“But even still,” she says, “every 12 weeks or so, you just kind of lose it. Then you gather it back up.”

Daughter Alice’s Showbiz Instincts
Fey, on the promotional trail for her new memoir, Bossypants (”I thought for a minute about calling the book Having It All: Love, Work, Jaw Pain,” she says), is able to flex her muscle as 30 Rock boss by occasionally bringing her daughter, Alice, to the set.

There, the 5-year-old likes to play with actor Jack McBrayer, says her mom, who adds: “She’s also figured out that it’s funny to show people your butt.”

Revealing something of the Alice-Tina dynamic, Fey, tells InStyle: “Kids are definitely the boss of you. Anyone who will barge into the room while you are on the commode is the boss of you. And when you explain to them that you’re on the commode and that they should leave but they don’t? That’s a high-level boss.”

Which leads to the obvious question. Asked if she’d like more kids, Fey responds to interviewer Henry Alford, “If you’re asking me to do that with you, I cannot.”

Courteney Cox Discusses Split

Courteney Cox Discusses Split
After 11 years of marriage, David Arquette and Courtney Cox announced on Monday that they are on a "trial separation."

The next day, an emotional Arquette called into Howard Stern's radio show, where he revealed intimate details of the couple's problems. He told Stern, "She doesn't want to tell me, 'Don't do that, don't do this'...She doesn't want to nag me anymore..."
Stern offered, "Because sometimes she thinks of you as like a little boy."

Arquette replied, "Yeah…She gave me the motorcycle and she said 'I don't want to be your mother anymore.' I got it…"
Arquette apologized yesterday, tweeting, "I went on Howard Stern…to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing but while doing that I shared too much... for that I am sorry and humbled."

Is this "mothering" problem confined to celebrity marriages, or could it affect any marriage?

Psychologist and relationship expert Cooper Lawrence discussed the mothering problem and offered solutions you can try in your own relationships. Click on the video below for her full "Early Show" interview.
