Tyson marries Vegas. ormer boxer Mike Tyson has married for the third time, two weeks after his four-year-old daughter died in a freak accident on a treadmill. The ex-heavyweight world champion got hitched to girlfriend Lakiha Spicer at a private ceremony in Las Vegas at the weekend.There were no friends or family present at the low-key service at La Bella Wedding Chapel inside the Las Vegas Hilton hotel and casino.

"No guests whatsoever, just the bride and groom," said the chapel's owner Shawn Absher.

"Very intimate, sincere. Mike seemed very happy."

The bride wore "an appropriate dress" and Tyson donned a suit and tie for the big day, he added.

County marriage records in Vegas showed 42-year-old Tyson and Spicer, 32, obtained a marriage licence about 30 minutes before the service.

Tyson lost his daughter Exodus last month when her neck was caught in a cord attached to a fitness machine in her home in Phoenix, Arizona.

The former world champ was married twice previously - to actress Robin Givens in 1988, and to doctor Monica Turner nine years later.

His marriage to Givens ended after one year, while his marriage to Turner lasted five years.

Tyson - who retired from boxing in 2005 after a career marked by controversy - has a cameo in comedy "The Hangover".

The film, set in Vegas, opened on Friday and was the number one movie at US box offices over the weekend, taking nearly $45m.
