Boy Suspended For Dress & Heels. It was an exercise that is, in and of itself, rather noble. This young man wore a dress and high heels to school after his mother challenged him over a statement that he made that wearing heels is not all that hard. The Washington State teen, Sam Saurs, was suspended from school for the rest of the year, and banned from attending a dance and a school trip. The school later cut the suspension, but the rest of the punishments remained.


Saurs apparently has a reputation for wearing outlandish clothing and his hair is dyed a neon pink in the clip. According to his mother, no rules were broken.

It is a rather noble challenge. High heels are hardly fun to walk in, they hurt the feet, the lower back, and can even lead to permanent damage. After a few hours, they are very uncomfortable, they make driving dangerous, and so many other things. So, this young man learned what it is like to walk a day in his mother’s shoes. Yes, he threw in the dress just for the fun of it, and he looks rather good in a dress, but still, most men have a tendency to ignore women’s views on fashion.

It is also rather outrageous that this young man has had to endure this kind of punishment for what should be seen as a good attempt to understand what life is like as a woman.
